Serverstock started in March 2020 with a narrow idea: an Indian business shouldn't have to choose between serious infrastructure and a vendor who picks up the phone. The company runs cloud migration, management and data protection for small and mid-sized companies — accounting firms, manufacturers, clinics, logistics and trading businesses.
Most of that work is unglamorous and load-bearing. Migrations that cannot lose a file. Backups that restore on the first attempt, at 2am, on a machine nobody has touched in a year. Storage that stays immutable when something goes wrong on the other side.
What began as a services company is now shipping its own software. The backup platform, the storage control plane and the agents underneath them are written in-house, because what was on offer either priced Indian businesses out or asked them to send their data somewhere else.
